Getting to Waiheke Island
Waiheke Island is just a 35-minute ferry ride from Auckland, across the sparkling waters of the Hauraki Gulf.
From downtown Auckland, head to the ferry building which is right at the bottom of Queen St. It is within easy walking distance from most city hotels – or you can catch a cab or use public transport to take you to the Britomart Transport Centre, across the road from the ferry building.
Catch the 9am Fullers ferry from Pier Two, 99 Quay Street (see map below).
The 9am ferry arrives at Waiheke Island at 9:35am. Someone from Walking By Nature will be waiting for you. When you get off the ferry look to the left where you will see our guide and welcome board displaying your name.
If you are staying on Waiheke Island, we can arrange transfer to and from your island accommodation. Please get in touch with us to organise this.
